THIS IS AN INTEGRATED WELDING CELL SYSTEM IN SHICH ALL INCOMING PARTS TO BE WELDED ARE INDEXED TO STEEL PALLETS AT A CENTRAL LOADING STATION. SIEMENS TRANSFER CARS RUN LONGITUDINALLY ALONG 5 PALLETED PICKUP STATIONS, TRAVERSES OFF THE MAIN LINE TRANSFERRING PARTS TO MTA 1600 ORBITER MANIPULATOR, ALL AUTOMATICALLY THROUGH SIEMENS PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLS.
PALLETS PNEUMATICALLY LOCK INTO PLACE AT 1600A AND WELD PROGRAM COMMENCES BY IRB-2000 ROBOT. PARTS ARE TRACKED BY EITHER TOUCH-SENSING WITH PROGRAMMING COORDINATES OR SEAM TRACKING OPTION INSTALLED FOR SOME APPLICABLE PARTS, OR LASER TRACKING FOR THINNER MATERIAL PARTS. WHEN PART WELDING IS COMPLETE, PART IS RETURNED BY ABOVE REVERSE ORDER TO 1 OF THE 5 STATIONS, OR TO THE CENTRAL STATION #3 TO BE MANUALLY REMOVED BY CELL OPERATORS AND OVERHEAD CRANE OR FORKLIFT.
THIS IS A HIGHLY COORDINATED, INTEGRATED, HIGH POUNDAGE PART CAPABILITY AND LARGE PART ENVELOPE SYSTEM THAT CAN BE APPLIED TO MANY DIFFERENT PRODUCTS AND ALLOY TYPES. ENTIRE SYSTEM IS OSHA AND ANSI COMPLIANT FOR SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS WITH INTERLOCKS ON ENTRANCE GATES, LIGHT BEAMS AT LOAD STATION AND SAFETY MATS AT CENTRAL LOAD STATION.
